Eligibility for Grants...

The Charlotte Cushman Foundation provides grants to qualified non-profit theaters and groups for actors and actresses in a staged production.

Grant proposals must include the following:
  • The amount requested
  • Current IRS confirmation of 501 (c)(3) status
    		•
  • A narrative description of the project
  • A list of the board of directors and staff
    		•
  • Project goals and timetable
  • A brief history of the company or organization
    		•
  • A budget for the project
  • A list of other funders
    		•
  • Current financial statements and
        independent accountant's letter
  • A PA BCO designation, if held
    		•

    It is strongly suggested that proposals be submitted at least two full months prior to opening performance. Grants will be awarded throughout the year; funds will be disbursed in September, January and May.

    Note: Conciseness and accuracy will be regarded favorably.
